Mark Cicchiello
Mark graduated in Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2007.
He held the Ian McKenzie Scholarship in Medicine for three consecutive years during his
time at Trinity College. His junior medical years were at The Alfred and Western Hospitals.
Prior to beginning his formal training in dermatology he was Research Fellow under
Professor John Kelly at the Victorian Melanoma Service. During this time he was also
Lecturer in clinical medicine at Monash University.
His dermatology training was
at St Vincent's Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Royal
Children's Hospital. He attained fellowship of the Australasian College of
Dermatologists (FACD) in 2017.
Mark has an appointment as a visiting specialist
dermatologist at the Alfred Hospital and continues to contribute to undergraduate medical
education. He has a research interest and publications in the field of melanoma. Mark has
a broad interest in general dermatology including the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, acne,
skin cancer detection and management.
